These collaged lanscapes suggest bindweed as a way of viewing society’s attitude to disability and chronic illness, drawing on its looping, twining, anti-clockwise growth as a living metaphor for the emerging theory of crip time - a concept arising from disabled experience that addresses ways that the disabled/ chronically ill experience time and space differently to others.
